Are You Being Invited to Grow?

  • Are you interested in growing & learning, yet often feel stuck or frustrated with the results you have found so far?
  • Are you finding it difficult to move past your fears & frustrations?
  • Do you get stuck?

Today lets look at what is actually going on inside your brain when you “feel stuck” and what you can do about it.

 First & most important is to pay attention to your longings & discontent–it is the universe telling you that an internal change is needed and you are being invited to grow–a good thing.

 However, embracing the change that needs to occur can be a scary thing, down right disabling at times.

 Anytime you do something new, your mind will say,

“Whoa….slow down there, buddy!”

“Stop!!”

Your inner voice starts to creep in.

Your brain wants to protect you.

But, your brain doesn’t like change.

  • You doubt yourself.
  • You have second thoughts.
  • “Can I do it?”
  • Then you don’t proceed any further.

But if we want to achieve our goals, we need to break through that self doubt & fear. How do we do that? Just start, you just need to begin.

Realize it’s not how you feel; it’s what you do.

You can feel terrified, and still take action.

It’s the steps that count, not how you feel when you take them.

There is this  wonderful excitement that occurs after you’ve taken action that you were afraid to take.

You will cultivate confidence in yourself and your abilities that you can be successful.

Close your eyes–imagine your future. Ask yourself what can you do in this moment to move toward that future? Take a baby step.
